The JV football game scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 18, at Elgin has been postponed until Monday, Sept. 20 at 5:30 p.m. due to the host school not being able to secure officials for tomorrow's game.

For 8th grade volleyball players, Monday's practice will end at 5:15 p.m.

The 8th grade volleyball team took on Edon last night and fell in a hard fought loss. It was some of the best volleyball the girls have played. Rylee Walker had one ace and several good hits, along with several good passes. Cailyn Meyers had 3 aces and several good hits. Islynn Crafts got her second hit in a week along with continued improvement. Addyson Turner had 4 aces and several good sets. Harlee Salazar had 2 good aces and several good passes. Lydia Tracey, Ava Gruber, Anna Burt, and Mallory Groves all contributed to the awesome effort. Keep working hard ladies! It will pay off. The girls are back in action Tuesday at home.

The varsity golf team improved to 20-12 overall and 6-1 in the BBC with a 172-187 win over Pettisville last evening. Mason Sanford was medalist with a score of 39. Others scores for the Eagles were Zack Hayes - 42, Colin Patten - 45, Ben Pettit - 46, Colton Hicks - 48 and Keegan Hickman - 57.

Seniors, your school pictures will be taken October 27. All students and staff need their picture taken for the yearbook, regardless of whether you plan to purchase pictures or not. Jr. high and high school students should stop in the office to pick up a flyer for picture day. NO ORDER FORMS OR ADVANCE PAYMENTS are needed!!! You should get an email to notify you when pictures are ready to view. There are 8 different backgrounds to choose from. There will be a jr. high SOAR meeting Friday, Sept. 24, during lunch in the Eagle Room. Grab your lunch and go to the Eagle Room right away.

There will be a HS SOAR meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 21, during lunch. If you are currently a SOAR member, you need to attend. If you do not attend, after two missed meetings you will no longer be considered a SOAR member.

There has been a change in delivery for the jr. high fundraiser. All items will now be delivered on October 6 and can be picked up from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the Eagle Room.

North Central will once again be hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, September 28, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. You can sign up to donate blood at redcrossblood.org or in the high school office. Stop in the office to pick up the parent permission form required and for information. Please consider donating and helping save lives.
