This is a reminder that there is no school for students and staff on Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Day and no school for students on Tuesday, January 20, for staff professional development.

Our high school student council is sponsoring a winter dance on Friday, January 30, following the varsity basketball game and ending at 11:30 p.m. The dance will be held in the HS auditorium. Tickets are on sale now in the HS media center for $5.00 per person.

**If you plan to bring a guest who is not an NC student, you must pick up and submit a guest permission form from the media center. The guest permission form must be turned in by Friday, January 23, for your guest to attend the dance. 

This is a reminder to all students. Due to the state law that was signed June 30, 2025, and that went into effect on January 1, 2026, all cell phones must be turned off and kept in lockers for the entire school day.

It is the responsibility  of ALL STUDENTS to regularly check their email. Important information may be sent to students, including updates about study tables, admission to games and other essential announcements.
