Following is Dr. Lawson's daily mental health challenge for you: Sometimes our minds trick us into thinking negatively or misinterpreting situations. It is important to catch yourself when this happens and to challenge your thoughts. Here is another some questions to ask yourself - Am I making assumptions? Is there evidence to support this thought? Will this matter in a few weeks? What would I say to a friend in this situation? Could there be another way to look at this situation? Am I jumping to conclusions? I challenge you to catch your negative thoughts, challenge them, and correct them.
If you would like to sign a card or leave a message for a member of the NCHS Class of 2025, stop by the table set-up during high school lunch or see Miss Ridinger during your academic assist by Wednesday, May 21.
