High school students should check their school email sent by Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Geiser to place their vote for homecoming court. Voting needs to be done by Thursday, Dec. 9, by noon.


The Lady Eagles won 2 big games over the weekend. On Friday, they beat Pettisville 40-25. Madi Brown led the way with 24 points. On Saturday they went into overtime against Liberty Center on a last second 3 point shot by Darbi Stewart. They won in overtime 44-41. It was a great team effort. Leading scorers for NC were Madi Brown with 16, Lauren Balser with 10 and Isabelle Burnett with 9. Madi Brown is 4 points from reaching the 1,000 point milestone. They will be back in action Tuesday night at home against Hilltop.


The JV boys' basketball team defeated Lakewood Park Saturday, 39-37. The varsity also took a season opening win, holding on to win 69-68. They will head to Hilltop Thursday to take on the Cadets with Zack Hayes just 3 points from the 1,000 mark.


There will be a SADD meeting tomorrow (12/7) during lunch in Mrs. Luthy's room. Please be prompt.


We love to see our students come to the athletic events and support our teams! Please remember, however, that all trash should be thrown away in the waste basket and not left on the the bleachers.


The Four County application is now open for sophomores to apply. The priority deadline is Feb. 1.


The Spanish Club is holding a winter coat drive to help out those who might not have a winter coat. Please bring in new or gently used coats to either office.

The high school student council is having a Hat and Glove Drive. To donate, please bring in new hats and/or gloves in all sizes. Donations will be accepted through Dec. 17. Drop off locations are located in the elementary and high school offices. All donations will go to NC students in need. Thank you for helping towards this community project!


The Ohio Civil Rights Commission announces its statewide Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Art, Essay, and Multimedia Contest. This is open to grades 6-12. All three contests are due by December 20. For more information, see Mrs. Mallett.


The 4-H scholarship for seniors has been posted in Google Classroom. It is due Jan. 7. You can also get a copy from Mrs. Mallett. The American Municipal Power Scholarship opportunity has been posted as well. It is due Dec. 17. If you would like more information on this scholarship, please see Mrs. Mallett.


The Northwest Region of the Ohio School Boards Association is offering four $500 BEES-BG grants to graduating high school seniors demonstrating an interest in the teaching profession. These grant funds can be used for the purchase of books and educational supplies. If you need a paper copy of the application, please see Mrs. Mallett.
