Due to weather conditions, ALL athletic activities and practices are cancelled for today, Jan. 26, which include the following games:

**The Lady Eagles varsity game at home against Fayette is CANCELLED.

**JH Lady Eagles BBC Tournament game at Pettisville is POSTPONED until Jan. 31. The time has not yet been confirmed but will be forthcoming as soon as confirmation is received.

Our high school student council is sponsoring a winter dance on Friday, January 30, following the varsity basketball game and ending at 11:30 p.m. The dance will be held in the HS auditorium. Tickets are on sale now in the HS media center for $5.00 per person.  Please see flyers throughout the high school for info about spirit days which start next week on Monday with "PJ Day"

**If you plan to bring a guest who is not an NC student, you must pick up and submit a guest permission form in the media center. The guest permission form must be turned in by Friday, January 23, for your guest to attend the dance. 

Any JH or HS student who is interested in participating in outdoor track should please sign up in the office by Friday, February 6!

This is a reminder to all students. Due to the state law that was signed June 30, 2025, and that went into effect on January 1, 2026, all cell phones must be turned off and kept in lockers for the entire school day.

It is the responsibility  of ALL STUDENTS to regularly check their email. Important information may be sent to students, including updates about study tables, admission to games and other essential announcements.

*Payment must accompany order and orders should be turned in to either school office.

*Items available include carnations, roses, brownies, chocolate pretzels, stuffed animals and more!
