S.O.A.R. (Students Offering Acceptance and Respect) is a leadership program for 5th and 6th graders at NCES. Students apply in 4th or 5th grade to join S.O.A.R. Members are trained in peer mediation, assist with school-wide events, and promote respect.
Backpack Food Program:
Each week, our Backpack Program offers food for children who meet the requirements. On Fridays, students receive a backpack of food that is easy for kids to prepare. Students return the empty backpack to Mrs. Renfer on Mondays. To apply, complete an application and email to firstname.lastname@example.org
